These are some old airplane liquor bottles that were on a shelf in Little Pa's garage. I have no idea how old they are or where they came from. They are old and they may have come from his days in the service. He served in both WWII and Korea.
I shot these because I felt like they characterized what he and his garage were all about. His garage is one of the most interesting and comfortable places I have ever been. I guess you could say it's a museum of his life. Anything that ever meant something to him, no matter how small, was kept in this garage. Newspaper clippings, photos, jokes, liquor bottles, assorted tchotkes...you name it. He may not have been verbal about it, but there is no doubt in my mind he was a very sentimental man.
